Job opportunity – Community manager

Job opportunity – Community manager

We are looking for a community manager to join the team!

Are you someone who would love to work with, and empower, our members to change how their voices are heard in decisions? Someone to help people know we exist and then use us, brilliantly, to create change? And not just by helping members take action where they live, but to change the conversation nationally (and internationally) towards a collaborative, swift, intelligent way of setting direction and making decisions as a society.

Tell me more and how to apply!

This is a part-time, freelance position for the equivalent of two days a week, with the potential for more days a week as our cash-flow allows. The post is open to people who work remotely – so no need to be London based.

We offer you and exciting and supportive environment that deals with politicians, campaign organisations, politics and democracy, data and technology on a daily basis. We will work with the person who joins us to identify what skills or experiences they would like to develop, and support them in achieving those where we can.

Yep, this really is me.

Great! We’re looking forward to hearing from you.

Deadline: 8, August 2016.

Kathryn Corrick

Digital communications strategist, teacher and open data specialist with an academic background in ethics. Kathryn has been working in and around the web and its impact on civic society for over 15 years, and is particularly interested in how the use of technology and data is changing culture, society, law and democracy.
